Had the in-laws over for a barbecue and my father-in-law thought we’d paid a joiner to build it on-site. That’s the standard of finish. Solid timber, tight T&G, not a creak or a wobble in it.
Replaced a cheap overlap shed and it’s a completely different animal. Thicker timber, tighter joints, proper apex roof that looks smart from the house. Should have spent the extra twenty years ago.
New-build house with a pocket-handkerchief back garden, and this has made it actually usable. Stores the mower, the rotary washing line, the kids’ bikes, and all the garden tools. Streets ahead of what the DIY sheds offer.
Cracking shed. The floor OSB is a proper thickness and doesn’t flex even with me rolling the motorbike in and out of it every weekend. Feels industrial rather than garden-centre.
North-facing back garden so damp was always going to be an issue. This has weathered perfectly — the green mineral felt on the apex has shrugged off every downpour without so much as a drip inside.
