Chuffed to bits with this. The timber is smooth and straight, the tongue-and-groove slots together beautifully, and there’s not a single warped board in the whole lot. Miles better than the B&Q one it replaced.
Nice shed, properly solid. Weekend job with my son-in-law helping. After a coat of stain it looks smart as anything down the end of the back garden. The wife’s delighted with it, which is saying something.
Quality product. The 28mm framing is actually 28mm — a lot of the catalogue lot measure nominally and you find out the hard way. Worth double-checking your base dimensions though, the external measurements are exact.
This shed has put up with two British winters, a heatwave last summer, and the kids booting footballs off the side of it. Still looks grand with a fresh coat of treatment each spring.
North-facing back garden so damp was always going to be an issue. This has weathered perfectly — the green mineral felt on the apex has shrugged off every downpour without so much as a drip inside.
