Cracking shed. The shiplap T&G cladding is properly chunky — none of the thin overlap rubbish you get from the big sheds. Went up over a Saturday afternoon and it’s sat at the bottom of the back garden looking the business.
Had the in-laws over for a barbecue and my father-in-law thought we’d paid a joiner to build it on-site. That’s the standard of finish. Solid timber, tight T&G, not a creak or a wobble in it.
Very happy with the purchase. The Tanalised timber is proper peace of mind — none of this annual Cuprinol faff. Build quality is head and shoulders above what the usual DIY sheds knock out.
Held up brilliantly through a proper wet British winter. No leaks, no warping, no swelling of the door. The pent roof slopes nicely away from the fence so we don’t get water pouring onto next door’s patio.
Replaced a cheap overlap shed and it’s a completely different animal. Thicker timber, tighter joints, proper apex roof that looks smart from the house. Should have spent the extra twenty years ago.
